The new iOS 13 Audio Sharing feature will expand to more Beats headphones
Apple's new iOS 13 added a plethora of new features and improvements to iPhones, some of which apply to other Apple products as well. It might have gone a bit under the radar, but the Beats headphones will be getting a nifty new feature now that iOS 13 is out.
Called Audio Sharing, the new iOS 13 feature lets people pair two sets of headphones to the same iPhone or iPod so that friends can listen to the same tunes. The new feature is only compatible with iPhone 8 and higher and can be enabled via the Bluetooth menu in Settings.
Up until now, only AirPods and Powerbeats Pro would support such a feature, but Engadget reports Apple plans to expand it to all Beats headphones that are equipped with Apple H1 and W1 chipsets.
Here are some of the headphones that we expect to be updated with Audio Sharing: BeatsX, Powerbeats3 Wireless, Solo3 Wireless, and Studio3 Wireless. The Audio Sharing feature will arrive on these Beats headphones from September 23, the report claims.
