i-mate - back in business?
A week ago we were ready to say our last farewell to i-mate, but it now turns out the company isn’t really willing to let go. CEO Jim Morrison has reportedly come up with a statement, saying that “everything about i-mate will continue” and this whole thing is due to a “major fraud”, the result of which has led to problems, concerning paying the staff. This “fraud” seems to have been discovered at the end of April, when the manufacturer was about to launch its latest device range. Unfortunately, the launch has not taken place and the case is now heavily looked at. i-mate fans may cheer up, as Mr. Morrison seems positive about the future of his company: "We are keeping the brand, we are putting out products, and we will be looking for more funding of course. There is a lot of good stuff happening."

While the office in Dubai is closed, it is said that the company is still operational in other markets around the world.
