Black Huawei Mate 20 Pro stars in freshly leaked hands-on images
The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, which are guaranteed to see daylight in London next week, have been leaked multiple times in a number of paint jobs already, but for the most part, we’ve dealt with press-friendly renders.

These are obviously excellent representations of a phone’s general design language, but sometimes, they don’t accurately capture certain real-life elements and feelings. That’s where hands-on photos come in, with a couple of those purportedly revealed today to confirm the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is... huge.

A smoothly curved 6.9-inch display occupies pretty much the entire front panel, save for a small chin and wide iPhone X-inspired notch expected to house an advanced 3D facial recognition mechanism in addition to a selfie shooter and earpiece.

Around the back, the Mate 20 Pro sports a massive square-shaped camera arrangement including three imaging sensors and an LED flash, with Leica branding at the very top suggesting Samsung, Apple, and Google might be in trouble when it comes to photography prowess.

Obviously, we’re looking at a dark and handsome color option here, nonetheless made sleek and stylish by a reflective glass rear cover. Keep in mind that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is expected to come in Twilight, Blue, and possibly Green, as well as this freshly pictured Black version.

Also, if you’re not a fan of such gargantuan phones with distractingly large screen cutouts, the non-Pro Huawei Mate 20 should feature a slightly smaller 6.5-inch display with a significantly narrower “waterdrop” notch. Less than one week to go, y’all!
