"Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery" to launch on April 25 for iOS and Android
We're finally going to get a Harry Potter mobile game, and it will be out on April 25 for both iOS and Android.
"Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery" will be a free-to-play role-playing game situated in the Harry Potter universe. You'll begin the game by creating your own student of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which you'll then play the game as. When it comes to the gameplay, you'll be able to take part in various activities, such as visit classes, create friendships, which will actually affect how the story of the game rolls out, and, of course, cast magicks. The game is also voice acted and some actors who played in the Harry Potter movies have voiced their in-game counterparts too.
This is one of the two Harry Potter games said to hit the mobile market this year. The other one is developed by Niantic, the studio behind the mega-hit Pokemon GO, and is called "Harry Potter: Wizards Unite". It will utilize AR to provide gameplay similar to that of Pokemon GO, meaning you'll cast magicks and fight enemies in real-world environments.
