Best Buy brings back its best ever Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 deal in time for the new school year
Android tablets are hardly the world's most productive (or popular) gadgets, but at the right price and with the right features in tow, a high-end Samsung slate can be perfect to gear up for a new school year. Then again, while Best Buy's latest deal on the Galaxy Tab S4 is technically aimed specifically at college students, there's nothing stopping everyday customers from purchasing the 10.5-incher for as little as $399.99.

All you need is to enroll in the retailer's Student Deals program, which you can easily do without providing any sort of paperwork or paying a fee. In other words, you don't have to actually prove you're a student to score a massive $250 discount on both 64 and 256GB variants of the Tab S4 with Wi-Fi connectivity only. The "student deal" is valid until September 2, essentially taking $100 off the already marked-down price of the 2018-released Android slate.

It's also worth pointing out that this marks the revival of the same exact promotion from several months ago, and since then, a number of other special offers reduced the regular price of the Galaxy Tab S4, but never as low as this. At $399.99, the Snapdragon 835 powerhouse matches the list price of the newer, sleeker, but also slower Galaxy Tab S5e with a Snapdragon 670 processor under its hood.

The 10.5-inch veteran comes with a built-in S Pen as standard as well, although you'll obviously need to buy a keyboard cover separately if you want to maximize the productivity and functionality of this bad boy. While you also get a microSD card slot for easy storage expansion, purchasing a Wi-Fi-only variant with 256 gigs of local digital hoarding room at $499.99 instead of $749.99 might not be such a bad idea. Both storage configurations are available in black and gray colors with a premium combination of glass and aluminum materials.
