Even though T-Mobile has steadily been raising prices, it's cheaper than both AT&T and Verizon. AT&T and T-Mobile both raised prices for long-time customers this year.
While T-Mobile leads in 5G, AT&T offers wider 4G coverage and tends to be more reliable in rural areas.

In May, AT&T announced the customizable Build‑A‑Plan that starts at $15/month, which T-Mobile has yet to match. Granted, it's a barebones plan, but it's still a small attempt to dilute its premium image.
Ultimately, there's little difference in postpaid pricing among different carriers, unless you pick an entry-level plan. For most customers looking to save, a migration from T-Mobile to an MVNO would make more sense, though that would come with its own pitfalls, such as slow speeds during peak hours, less lucrative or non-existent phone deals, and little to no perks.
