What is being described as a "small fortune" in Apple products was stolen by a brazen group of thieves who made off with their haul in the middle of a crowded Apple Store. The four hooded robbers grabbed 26 items worth $27,000 in just seconds this past Saturday. The store robbed was the one located inside the Fashion Fair Mall in Fresno, California.

Surveillance video, which you can view at the top of this article, reveals the swiftness of the theft. The four men enter the Apple Store as shoppers freeze in shock and horror. They grab everything they can and run out of the store. The Fresno Police reported that among the purloined products were various Apple iPhone models including the iPhone 6, iPhone 7, iPhone 8 and the iPhone X. The phones, along with other stolen merchandise like MacBooks, were tethered to the display tables. However, the robbers were able to yank the products loose from the cables used to tether the devices.

One customer tried to block the exit, but was knocked down by one of the robbers. Police say that they are looking for five men including a getaway driver, ranging in age from 16 to 18. Police suspect that the gang could be responsible for other burglaries in the region where the same tactics were employed.
