Apple predicts the iPhone 15 Pro will be its best seller for this generation: hints new report
Apple's most popular phone for the period between 2021 and 2022 was the base iPhone 13, with the iPhone 14 Pro Max snatching that title away after the iPhone 14 series came out. Now a new report states that the iPhone 15 Pro will be the most sought-after option from the upcoming new generation.
It is no secret that Apple (as well as other major players in the mobile phone industry) has been focusing on its more premium flagships during the last few years. The Pro models almost always exclusively receive the latest innovations, while the regular ones get previous Pro-only features and hardware. A great example is the upcoming iPhone 15, which is said to adopt all of its upgrades from the iPhone 14 Pro.
The aforementioned report comes from itHome and it says that Apple has ordered more iPhone 15 Pro displays than it did for the iPhone 14 Pro last year. In fact, the volume of iPhone 15 series displays for the month of June is said to be twice as more compared to the same period in 2022 for the iPhone 14 series, claims the Display Supply Chain Consulting Company (DSCC).
What's more, while display orders for the iPhone 14 Pro amounted to 43% for the iPhone 14 series (June-July), this time it is 58% for the iPhone 15 Pro. Interestingly, DSCC also shares that display panel shipments for the iPhone 14 series fell by 22% in June, compared to the iPhone 13 series during the same month last year.

So, to make some sense out of all of these numbers and dates, it is safe to say that Apple is planning on sticking with the focus on its Pro models as the company's biggest money-maker. Also, expect the iPhone 15 Pro to be the best seller for this year, which is weird, given how good the base iPhone 15 is said to be thanks to some significant upgrades in the camera section specifically.
