Amazon holds frequent sales on in-house Fire tablets, Kindle e-readers, and Echo smart speakers, both directly and through daughter company Woot, but you rarely get to see such a rich and diverse collection of steeply discounted gadgets as the one available right now for a limited time on the popular e-commerce platform.
If you hurry, you can purchase a number of certified refurbished Amazon devices at massive discounts and essentially unbeatable prices, starting with the latest edition of the Android-based Fire HD 8 tablet at 20 bucks less than usual. That's compared to the typical price of an "all-new" Amazon Fire HD 8 in refurbished condition, mind you, as the slate is marked down even more drastically if you look at how much a brand-new unit usually costs.
The $20 reduction applies to both 16 and 32GB storage configurations in a number of paint jobs, and if you're a Prime member, you're eligible for an extra 10 percent off, bringing your total savings up to 25 bucks. The Fire HD 8 refurb is not only tested and certified to "look and work like new", but also sold with the same 90-day warranty as a completely unused product.
In fact, the same warranty conditions as those offered for brand-new units apply to all of Amazon's heavily marked-down refurbished devices, from the Kindle Paperwhite to a second-gen regular Echo, Fire TV Stick 4K, and the latest Fire HD 10 variant. All products are also eligible for the aforementioned 10 percent savings applied on top of "standard" discounts for Prime members as well.
That means you can get the recently released Kindle Paperwhite at up to $39 off its regular certified refurbished price, while the second-gen Echo smart speaker can score a maximum $26 discount. The Alexa voice remote-including Fire TV Stick 4K streamer goes $18 off list with Amazon Prime memberships, and last but not least, a 32GB Fire HD 10 tablet is available at up to a $30 discount in refurbished condition with a full one-year warranty thrown in.
