Zinio tailors the digital editions of 20 000 magazines for Android, 24 issues free till June 15th
The digital subscription aggregator Zinio brings 20 000 of the world's most popular magazines to Android Market, after its appearance on the App Store.
Available through Zinio's own app, the digital editions of icons like Rolling Stones are specifically tailored for the Android tablet experience, but can be viewed on select Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and Froyo handsets as well.
Some of the magazines, like Marie Claire and Seventeen, sport additional features, like social networking integration, search and embedded video. Zinio is the digital magazine provider of choice in Samsung Reader Hub on the Samsung Galaxy S II, offering easy subscription experience and clean interface for your reading needs.
If you download Zinio before June 15th, 24 issues of the new magazines that will enter Zinio's portfolio on Android are free (with Samsung Galaxy S II's Reader Hub you get 7).
Titles include such industry stalwarts like Cosmopolitan, ESPN The Magazine, Harvard Business Review, Men's Fitness, O, The Oprah Magazine and US Weekly. Zinio is dubbed "the world's largest newsstand" and for a good reason, it seems.
