Zagg outs pricey screen protectors for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge
Not only did Samsung have production problems last year with the S6 edge display, at least initially, but accessory makers also took their sweet time to release a nice and tough screen protector for the intricate doubly bent display. This year, however, everyone is better prepared, it seems, and Zagg, the maker of all things case-y and accessory, said they will have a few screen protector models for both the S7 and S7 edge when they hit your doorsteps.
Zagg's basic InvisibleShield guard for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge are $15, while the HD version, which is apparently "ultra clear and ultra durable," is $25. The long-awaited Glass Contour option, however, which protects the screens on both devices with tempered reinforced glass layer, is $40, and will be available at a later date, though we are sure many alternatives will start popping up very soon, given the popular feedback that the S7 and S7 edge already received.
