ZTE Star 1 gets official, runs Android KitKat, costs $225
The ZTE Star 1 that we first showed you a few days ago is now official. Like the Grand S II LTE which was announced back in January, the ZTE Star 1 sports a 5-inch 1080p display. It looks different than the Grand S II LTE, though, and it’s not that powerful, as its processor is a quad-core 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 (instead of the Snapdragon 801 found on the Grand S II).

The Star 1 also features LTE, an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash, 5MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal memory, and a 2,300 mAh battery. It will be available in three color versions (black, white, and pink), running Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

It appears that prices for the ZTE Star 1 will start at around $225 in China. While ZTE is selling handsets almost all over the world, for now we don’t know if the Star 1 will be released internationally.
