ZTE Nubia Z5 mini to be unveiled on Tuesday
Over the weekend, Chinese manufacturer ZTE sent out an invitation for a media event that will take place Tuesday. The media event is being held in order to unveil the ZTE Nubia Z5 mini. The Twister-looking invitation makes the "Z5 mini" logo look multi-colored, probably hinting at a variety of colors available for the handset. Besides the invitation, a picture allegedly of the ZTE Nubia Z5 mini has appeared.
The phone is expected to carry a 4.7 inch screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution. A quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor is under the hood. 2GB of RAM is onboard and the phone is going to sport an 8MP rear-facing camera. The dimensions are 65.7 x 134.8 x 10.3mm and the unit weighs 160g. Android 4.2.2 is pre-installed out of the box.
The ZTE Nubia Z5 mini looks like it will be one of those rare mini models that will out power the full-sized version. The ZTE Nubia Z5 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro doing the heavy lifting.
