ZTE has introduced the ZTE Blade A2 today, which will be earmarked for China Mobile. The handset features a 5-inch display with a 720 x 1280 resolution. The MediaTek MTK6750 SoC is under the hood, carrying an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and a Mali-T860 MP2 520MHz GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of native storage.
The 13MP rear-facing camera comes with PDAF, and the front-facing 5MP camera snaps selfies and handles video chats. Below the camera in the back is a fingerprint scanner that will unlock the device in .3 seconds. Available in gold, silver and grey, the ZTE Blade A2 comes with a 2500mAh battery and offers VoLTE connectivity. Android 5.1 is pre-installed with with Mifavor 3.2 on top.
The ZTE Blade A2 is clad in metal and will be available starting on June 15th priced in a range equivalent to $91 USD-$107 USD. It is the sequel to the ZTE Blade A1, which was launched last year.
