Yu Yutopia unveiled with 5.2-inch QHD screen, SD-810 and 4GB of RAM
The Yu Yutopia has been launched in India by Micromax. This is the manufacturer's first high-end handset, and is built using a Magnesium and Aluminum alloy. This makes it 90% stronger than phones produced with a polycarbonate build. The 5.2-inch screen has Gorilla Glass 4 protection, with a resolution of 1440 x 2560. That works out to a pixel density of 565ppi.
Micromax is going all out, deciding not to throttle the clock speed of the Snapdragon 810 chipset that drives the device. That means it offers an octa-core 2GHz CPU, and contains the Adreno 430 GPU. 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM is inside, along with 32GB of internal storage. Those requiring more memory can tap into the 128GB capacity microSD slot. The 21MP rear camera uses an ExmorRS IMX230 sensor, PDAF for quick focusing, and OIS for jiggle-free video. The 8MP front-facing camera has an 86 degree wide angle lens and an f/2.2 aperture.
