You can now get four months of Google Play Music for free, even if you're not a new subscriber
Google is running a new promotion for its music streaming service, Play Music. New subscribers will now receive four months of free Google Play Music service, but after the trial period ends, they will have to pay $9.99 or £7.99.
The promotion is not available worldwide, and it seems to be limited to a few countries (US and UK). The good news is if you're located in one of the countries eligible for the free four months trial, then you can take advantage of it even if you're already subscribed.
Many Reddit users claim they have canceled their subscriptions to grab the free offering. Upon subscribing again, they received four months of free Google Play Music service. There's a catch though, so make sure did not use multiple free trials in the last year or so, otherwise, you'll get less than four months of free service.
Even if you did use a few free trials in the last 12 months, you'll still be able to take advantage of the current promotion, but you'll get just one, two or three months of free service. Unfortunately, there's no telling what determines a year: from the moment you sign up, or when the trial ends.
