Have a complaint that needs the attention of the pencil pushers at City Hall? Instead of making a call and getting pushed off from one extension to another, Government Outreach is offering the GORequest app for the App Store. This app will allow citizens in dozens of states to report things like a pothole in the street, problems with garbage collection, etc. To make a complaint, select the issue, take a picture, click on submit and the problem will reach the desk of the correct City Hall member. Government Outreach president Kendall Smith says, "We’ve already helped many agencies around the country dramaticallyimprove customer service through the web, but with GORequest for theiPhone they can now connect with residents on the go." Among the cities where the app can be used are Santa Monica, CA, Queen Creek, AZ, and Arvada, CO. Who says you can't fight City Hall?
