Yahoo video app now available on Android TV
After a total blackout, Yahoo is suddenly all over the place. After launching its new Mail app for Android and iOS, Yahoo is now bringing its video app to Android TV. The new app is now available for download via Google Play Store and it's completely free.
Spotted by AndroidPolice, the app is called Yahoo: Sports, Finance & News and it's only available in the United States due to video licensing issues. Of course, you can use it on Android phones as well, but that's not the point.
Once you download it on Android TV, you'll be able to explore the topics that interest you most from across various areas like News, Sports, Finance, and Entertainment. The app is a door to your favorite shows and videos such as Skullduggery TV, Unfiltered, Daytime Now, In the Know, The Rush, The Bounce, and more.
Live events, breaking news, and interviews can be watched via Yahoo's video app as well. Pity that it's only available in the US, although we're not sure how popular it would be in the rest of the world.
