Xperia T3 and Xperia M2 LTE now available in the US via Sony Store
Last week, Sony released its Xperia Z3 flagship smartphone in the US via T-Mobile, while also starting to take pre-orders for the Xperia Z3 Compact (which will be available unlocked in early November). In case you don’t want - or can’t afford - any of these two handsets, Sony is now also selling the Xperia T3, a mid-range smartphone that’s been launched in Asia and Europe a few months back.
Sold for $ 399.99 (unlocked), the Xperia T3 is a 7mm-thin device that’s build around a stainless steel frame. It comes in three color versions (black, purple, white), and features: a 5.3-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, 8 MP rear camera, quad-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, a 2500 mAh battery, and Android KitKat. The smartphone has LTE connectivity, but it’s compatible only with AT&T, T-Mobile and other GSM networks (so it won’t work on Verizon or Sprint). You can find out more about the Xperia T3 by reading our review of it here.
If the T3 is too large for you, you can now also buy the Xperia M2 LTE from Sony Store US. This costs $279 - a bit more than the non-LTE variant of the M2 (which was previously released by Sony for $229). The M2 sports a 4.8-inch display with 540 x 960 pixels, and, like the Xperia T3, is compatible with AT&T’s and T-Mobile’s networks. Both the Xperia T3 and Xperia M2 LTE can be ordered at the source links below.
