Xiaomi rumored to have a super-thin, 64-bit capable midranger in the pipeline
Spotters have noticed a new Xiaomi-made phone make its way to TENAA testing in China. There are still no images of the device leaked, as the testing is ongoing, but we have a few juicy tidbits on its specs, which give enough for some interesting speculations.
Firstly, the device is listed as sporting a 2,000 mAh battery – "Kind of small" one would think, but "Kind of thin" is what leaksters say. Yup, there has been a rumor that the fastest growing manufacturer may launch its a super-thin handset this January – a style-oriented super-thin midranger – one that would compete with the Oppo R5, Vivo X5 Max, Gionee Elife, and any other slim (thinner than 0.19", 5mm).
Said whispers claim that the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 615 – Qualcomm's mid-range 64-bit offering that doesn't seem to be very popular as of yet, but we found to be quite adequate in our reviews of the HTC Desire 820 and Oppo R5.
So, come January the 15th, we may get yet another constestant in the "thinnest in the World" (rat) race. Anyone excited?
