Xiaomi Phone 2 with Snapdragon S4 Pro goes on sale October 30th, price set at merely $320

You know what happens on October 30th? Yes, the LG Nexus 4 is expected to launch touting a crazy fast Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core chip, but it’s not the only one. The Xiaomi Phone 2, which just happens to be the first S4 Pro handset, is also making a debut in the far away lands of China.

Why is this important then? The Xiamo Two is really that - a phone for China, but what makes it stand out is its price tag. The 16GB Xiaomi Mi-Two (another name for the same phone) will cost people at China merely 1,999 yuan, the equivalent of just $320.

In comparison, the LG Nexus 4 with the same chip and half the memory is expected to cost no less than $399, and in the UK the price is actually much higher at 389 British pounds.

The Xiaomi device started as a project to bring the popular MIUI Android ROM pre-loaded in a phone in a very affordable package.
