Xiaomi Mi Note 2 showcased in new high quality live images
We've been treated to quite a few glimpses of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 over the past week or so, albeit most of the snaps have been dark, grainy, or otherwise difficult to see. Now, finally, we have some high-quality live shots of the device in action and as suspected, it features a curved-edge finish akin to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
According to previously leaked specs, the Mi Note 2 will be chock-full with power. Set to be graced with 6 gigs of RAM, it's reckoned that the device will include Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chipset. There have been some rumors that the quicker Snapdragon 821 could make an appearance, but the former seems more probable at this point. Either way, the Mi Note 2 should be able to hold its own against its peers.
The display will apparently fall somewhere between the 5.5- and 5.7-inch mark, with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. There's said to be 64 GB of on-board storage, though a version with 128 GB ROM could also be in the offing. Software-wise, the latest Android 7.0 Nougat should be installed prior to release.
The Mi Note 2 is expected to arrive in mid-September. Meanwhile, you can take a peek via the leaked images below.
