Although it might not be as compelling as its bigger brother, the Xiaomi Mi Note is, by all means, is a noteworthy device that deserves some attention. Indeed, most of us were waiting for a Xiaomi Mi 5, but the Chinese handset maker caught us off guard in a pleasant fashion with the Mi Note and the Mi Note Pro, both of which will surely attract the attention of those consumers that always strive for the better-spec'd phone on the market.
Toting quite a high price as per Xiaomi's previously set standards, the base 16GB version of the Mi Note will set you back $371. This price tag gives you a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera with a Sony sensor, two 4G SIM card slots (micro and nano ones), both of which can be active at the same time, and a 3,000mAh battery. Up front, we have a 5.7" display with a 1080p resolution. Sounds appealing, but the big news here is the relatively high price that Xiaomi asks for the flagship.
