The Xiaomi Mi 8 will go on sale in Europe starting August
Following its recent launch in China that saw Xiaomi sell all of the available Mi 8 stock in under one minute, a new report now claims that the low-cost flagship will be available in Europe later this summer – in August, to be precise.

According to the information, Xiaomi currently only has plans to sell the regular Xiaomi Mi 8 model with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Additionally, the Chinese brand will be offering the smartphone in Black and Blue. However, those wanting to get their hands on the unique Explorer Edition or the 8GB of RAM variant are apparently out of luck. Nevertheless, if demand is high, Xiaomi could potentially bring the models to the continent at a later date.

Currently, the Chinese company is yet to confirm official pricing details for Europe, but when the positioning of the smartphone in China is considered, the 64GB model is expected to go on offer for around €365, while the 128GB version will set consumers back just over €400. Also, it’s worth pointing out that not everyone in Europe will gain access to the smartphone. Instead, Xiaomi only has plans to release the smartphone in France, Italy, and Spain.
