"X" marks the spot on Nokia's treasure map for MWC
Over in Asia, on Nokia's Weibo site, the manufacturer teased its MWC appearance by releasing a treasure map. And what treasure might Nokia be guiding you to? Well, considering that "X" marks the spot, it would seem logical to assume that Nokia is talking about its Nokia X. This is the device that had the code name of Normandy and runs on Android.

The latest specs for the phone show a 4 inch screen with resolution of 480 x 854 and a pixel density of 285ppi.. A dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon 200 is expected to be powering the phone, which will feature 512MB of RAM and 4GB of native storage. A 32GB capacity microSD slot will be available and a 5MP snapper is expected to grace the rear of the device. Android 4.4.2 is said to be pre-installed.

As for the treasure map, we've seen all sorts of weird theories about the symbolism of the two monkeys. If you really want to know what Nokia is promoting, stare at the four converging green arrows until you see the letter X. At that point, everything comes into focus.
