There’s always been speculation around XBOX Live gearing up to make some kind of debut on mobile handsets – especially ones that have Windows Mobile obviously. We’ve recently have seen job postings that hint to a revived focus on getting XBOX Live integrated. Now it’s becoming quite clear of their intentions of just doing that – an internal Microsoft marketing material dated December 2009 introduces the new service. Going by the name of “XBOX LIVE Games”, it’ll be available on phones running a mobile version of Windows – no hints to say if Windows Mobile 6.5 will be seeing it. With Windows 7 on the horizon, it may seem like the perfect time for unveiling the service, but nothing has been confirmed about its release or if it’ll grace other mobile platforms.
