Windows Phone version of Spotify is updated
Music streamer Spotify has updated its Windows Phone app and the UI now matches what is available for iOS and Android. Besides the new "Bold and beautiful" UI, version 5.0 adds Your Music on Windows Phone which helps users save, organize and browse through their music collection. And an updated browse feature offers information that is local and more relevant to the app's user.
Spotify for Windows Phone is free from the Windows Phone Store. But the premium version of the app allows you to play any song at any time on any device. The premium version of Spotify also allows you to listen to your music without an internet connection. And of course, paying $10 monthly for the service means no ads!
If you decide to go with the premium version of Spotify, you can cancel anytime. With Apple looking to undercut Spotify and drastically slash the price for streaming music, we could see a drop in price for the premium version sometime this year.
