Windows Live Messenger app for the iPhone is now available
For something that seemed like an eternity, Apple's pride and joy seemed to repel anything related to Microsoft, aside from Exchange support obviously. Only recently did we start seeing Microsoft's presence a bit more visibly on iOS as Bing was recently seen added to the list of searching options for the upcoming iPhone 4. Now we're continuing to see their aura as Microsoft's Windows Live Messenger app is now available for download through the App Store. Aside from being able to chat with all of your friends using your Live account, it integrates Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Flickr, Yahoo Messenger, and Hotmail ever so casually with the app. Additionally, you can even share content such as photos with friends during a conversation or even to your album. Sure it may be just another IM app, but when it's tied closely to Microsoft, it's refreshing to see Apple opening its arms more freely to them.
