Windows 10 variant of HTC's Hima / One (M9) expected to be launched in the US
HTC believes that its 2015 line-up of products will be the best ever. The company's first devices from the new line-up will be announced next month at MWC 2015, almost surely including the Android-based One (M9) and One (M9) Plus, aka Hima and Hima Ultra. But what about the rumored Windows Phone-based variant of the Hima? Well, according to @upleaks, this won't be unveiled at MWC.
@upleaks says that the Microsoft-endorsed HTC Hima / One (M9) will run Windows 10 - which was to be expected anyway. Since Windows 10 won't be fully released before the summer, the handset will probably not be announced in the near future. It's said that HTC's current plan is to sell the new Wndows 10 smartphone only in the US.
Last year's One (M8) for Windows was identical, specs-wise, to the One (M8) running Android. If that's also the case with this year's model, the Windows 10-based One (M9) could feature a 5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 20.7 MP dual rear camera, 4 MP front-facing camera, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal memory.
So, who's interested in a Windows 10 smartphone made by HTC?
