Where to get the best price for your iPhone 6/7 sale or trade-in
To offset the price of the new iPhones that Apple announced, iOS fans are traditionally selling or trading in their older handsets, and adding some extra dough on top of the money they get in exchange. This year, though, Apple is going to disrupt the usual scheme big time, as it outed a third, exclusive iPhone X that blasts off from $999, and only goes up from there.
Needless to say, this means that every extra dollar you get for your older iPhone will count, that's why we checked to see where you can get the most bang for your buck. Users with iPhone 6/6s handsets will be the most pressed for an upgrade, but many an iPhone 7/7 Plus owner may be tempted by the unique new bezel-less iPhone X.
That one won't only be expensive due to increased component costs, but may also play hard to get, at least initially, and may fall victim of scalpers that are going to jack up the price exponentially. That is why you might want to explore all your options for selling or trading in your older darling (we ran a quick check with the basic iPhone 7 in good condition), and decide which way you want to go with it.
