Where do you shop for smartphones? (poll results)
From small kiosks at shady bazaars, through enormous brick and mortar hypermarket chains, down to a panoply of online stores, getting your hands on a smartphone these days is as easy as getting a bucket for two at your local KFC. That is, so long as you've got the cash on hand, of course. Just where do our readers get their devices from, specifically, though? We wanted to have that answered, so we simply went for it and asked.

The clock is now stopped, and votes are no longer accepted. We have the results. According to them, third-party, e-commerce websites such as Amazon, eBay, and AliExpress are the most popular venue (~39%) for smartphone purchases—probably because you can often grab a great limited deal. A distant second, brick and mortar carrier stores (~17%) are still in style. Sales through physical (~4%) and online (~5%) brand stores are the least common according to our sample.
