WhatsApp for Android updated with new camera features
The folks over at WhatsApp have just announced their messenger application for Android devices has just been updated with some important new features meant for those who like to take photos with their phones.
With the latest version of WhatsApp, users will be able to customize and improve the photos and video they want to share with friends and family. There's a set of new camera features that have been implemented in the Android version of WhatsApp, which enable users to write or draw on photos and videos.
On top of that, you will now be able to add emoji to express your feelings towards something much easier. For example, once you take a photo or video, you can now automatically see the new editing tools, so you can take advantage of the new features on the fly.
But that's not all, as the developers announced the WhatsApp camera feature now supports the front-facing flash, which should provide better results when taking selfies. The new feature will be especially useful in low light and at night.
Last but not least, the latest version of WhatsApp for Android comes with a brand new zoom feature for recording videos. In order to benefit from the new feature simply slide your thumb up and down to zoom in and out. In addition, you can now switch between front and rear facing camera by double tapping on the screen.
