Arrow shows new camera icon added to WhatsApp beta for Windows
If you are a Windows 10 Mobile user who employs
WhatsApp, a camera icon has been added to the beta version of the app. The new version number of the beta app is 2.16.208. The camera icon is located on the bottom of the Settings bar in the chats window, and is used to quickly snap photos and take videos that can be shared with users' contacts.
With the new camera icon, users will be able to share photos and videos with more than one contact at a time. Currently, users select one contact and add an image or video as an attachment. That is a long process that wastes time. With the new icon, a photo can be taken or a video shot, multiple contacts selected, and with a tap of the screen the photo or video is on the way to all the contacts you want at one time.
It shouldn't be too long before this new feature becomes part of the WhatsApp version for Windows 10 Mobile. If you don't feel like waiting, you can install the beta version of WhatsApp on your Windows 10 Mobile handset by clicking on the sourcelink below.
