The OnePlus 5 is finally official and it's got a lot of people excited.
How do we know? Simple: just look at the line of people waiting to buy the new OnePlus 5 in New York at the company's special Pop-up event. The lines stretches down the whole block and you can see everyone from regular folks to YouTubers and the rest.
And quite honestly, we haven't seen such long lines for a phone in quite some time. Even the iPhone these days gets a slightly more muted reaction.
So yes, while we can be critical about the OnePlus 5's iPhone-esque design and other things, one has to admit that the OnePlus 5 is one heck of a phone for its $480 price. It's got a flagship grade Snapdragon 835 system chip, 8 gigs of RAM, the most we've seen on a phone, plentiful storage and a clean and fast-running OxygenOS.
