Watch live TV on your iOS or Android device using the updated Comcast Xfinity Go app
If you're a Comcast Xfinity customer, you might have used the Xfinity Player app to catch up on those episodes of Hardcore Pawn that you missed, or to watch last week's Sean Saves The World. But an update to the app changed the name to Xfinity TV Go and added something much more exciting than a name change. Now, Xfinity subscribers can watch live, streaming television from their iOS or Android phone or tablet. You need to have a Wi-Fi connection to use the live television feature.

That means that you don't have to be lounging on your couch to be a couch potato. You can be sitting on the potty, watching Cramer give out his stock tips on CNBC live. And all you need to do is download (or update) the current app and authenticate your status as an Xfinity subscriber. Besides CNBC, you can watch FOX News, CNN, FOX Business, FOX Sports 1, NBC Sports Network, BBC World News, the Golf Channel and a number of National Geographical channels.

To get to the live streaming shows, click on the hamburger menu from the main screen and from the slide-out menu, click on live. If you are planning on being somewhere without a Wi-Fi connection, you can download programming for playback offline.
