Walmart deal takes $180 off the 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro
Sure, the 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro is not the latest version of Apple's premium tablet. In fact (brace yourself), it has Touch ID, a home button, and doesn't sport the edge-to-edge screen as the 2018 models do. But it still is a powerful tablet running the A10X Fusion SoC. And Walmart, the place where you buy your underwear and socks, now has the device on sale (via Digital Trends). The discount retailer normally sells this slate with 256GB of storage for $799, but it is now on sale for $619. That $180 price break represents a 22.5% discount and shipping is free and reminds us Walmart Prime Day deals. Keep in mind that this is the Wi-Fi only model.

The 10.5-inch 256GB iPad Pro is offered in Gold, Rose Gold and Silver. It includes a 12MP rear-facing camera and a 7MP front-facing FaceTime camera. The tablet will be updated to Apple's new iPadOS with a redesigned home screen that will accommodate more app icons and allow you to pin widgets to the home screen. Apple iPad users will experience improved multitasking, easier text editing and highlighting, and more. The tablet on sale supports the first generation Apple Pencil, which is available from Walmart's website for $95. The battery, according to Walmart, runs for as long as 10 hours between charges.

These are new units that Walmart is selling. Apple is offering the same model, previously owned and refurbished, for $599. Obviously, it is best to pay the additional $20 and get a brand new tablet right out of the box with the original warranty included.
