Virgin Mobile Canada releases its first Android phone - the HTC Legend
With so many Android handsets released in North America, some would overlook specific ones more than others partly because they may not pack over imposing specs, but one handset is known more for its beautiful luster. Virgin Mobile Canada is fortunate enough in being the first carrier in North America to land the uni-body designed HTC Legend. Sure it may not boast specs that will melt away the competition, but there is just something about its design that is able to attract people to its gaze. Customers can nab the Android 2.1 powered device on either a no-contract price of $349.99 or with a 3-year leash for an upfront cost of $79.99. Even though that 3-year pricing looks really good in the short term, the thought of being tethered for three long years can be agonizing – hence why that $349.99 price is looking mighty fine. Needless to say, you'll be sporting one slick looking handset whichever way you decide to go.
