Virgin Mobile Canada brings the LG Rumor Plus to its lineup for $130 no-contract
Consider it somewhat refreshing to see, especially when smartphones dominate the scene mostly, it’s nice to see a non-smartphones getting some face time in the spotlight – but even more when its pricing is extremely affordable.
For Virgin Mobile Canada customers, they can actually pick up the LG Rumor Plus starting today for the no-contract price of $129.99. Naturally, they can choose to opt buying the handset for $99.99 on a prepaid plan or pay absolutely nothing with a 3-year contract – still, there’s no denying that its no-contract price is very alluring. Although it’s nothing new in terms of handsets we’ve seen, it’s actually the same device as the LG Neon II that became available with AT&T last year.
In fact, this messaging oriented handset features a QVGA touch-dial screen, 2-megapixel camera, 4-line QWERTY slide-out keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, 3.5mm headset jack, and a microSD card slot.
