Vine for iOS and Android updated with loop counters and overhauled interface
Vine, Twitter's app that allows you to record and share brief 6-second videos, dubbed “vines”, has received several new features and a slightly redesigned interface via an update. Now, the updated app features a real-time loop counter, which has a pretty streamlined function – it lets you know how many times any given vine has looped. The feature works across Vine's iOS, Android, and desktop versions, whereas its Windows Phone iteration has not been endowed with this functionality yet.
Apart from counting each and every 6-second loop, Vine now comes with a slightly redesigned and, arguably, better-organized interface. The vines now stretch from edge to edge and make full use of your display's real estate. Moreover, if you are an avid Vine user that browses the app on a regular basis, then you'd probably find the slightly bigger icons that allow you to like, comment, or share a vine a tad more convenient to hit while on the move.

And last, but not least, the app will notify you if any of your own vines surpasses a certain milestone – be it 25, 100, or more likes. As we previously said, these new features and changes are only available for iOS and Android devices, which means that Windows Phone users will provably have to wait for them a little longer.
