Vikings mobile game based on the TV series coming to Android and iOS in 2018

The plethora of games based on famous TV series and movies continues with Vikings. Developer Hugo Games announced it has teamed up with MGM Interactive for the release of Vikings: The Game.

The game will be launched in 2018 on Android, iOS and PC platforms, but we have yet to learn an exact ETA and any details about price. In fact, information about Vikings: The Game is pretty scarce at the moment, as the announcement is meant to create some hype around the upcoming title.

However, we do know that it will be a PvP strategy game that will allow players to meet some of the characters in the TV series, including Ragnar, Lagertha, Floki, and Rollo.

It's also worth noting that developers promise to offers “an immersive gameplay experience combined with impressive graphics and memorable soundtrack.”

Vikings: The Game will be the first game based on the TV hit drama series if the project isn't canceled during development. That's about all we know about the newly announced Vikings mobile game, but we'll be following it closely, so stay tuned for more on this one.
