Versace's phone struts its way into the FCC - possibly the LG GD970?
Following through with their plans, which was first made known earlier in the year, it looks like Versace's first phone is well on its way to strutting its stuff after it was recently spotted over at the FCC. Interestingly enough, the model code “VER-01” was attached to it although there was no evidence in the documentation regarding it as a Versace branded device – but it's led to be believed that it is in fact the Versace phone when you consider the model code and that it is a ModeLabs filing. Looking deeper into the documents reveals that the VER-01 is just another name for the LG GD970 which is so far an unannounced feature phone that sports an above average 800 x 480 display. Aside from the affinity to be fashionably resounding, this device may also prove to be a hit with the gadget community seeing that it has the potential of being a high-end phone at the same time. Fashion and technology perfectly molded together with the LG GD970? We'll see how it all turns out in the end.
