One of our loyal readers has just filled our inbox with gold! And he also sent us some valuable information as well. The gold comes from a picture of the Verizon branded Samsung Galaxy S5. And if you've been desiring the gold version of Sammy's flagship handset, you don't have terribly long to wait for it, either.
According to our tipster, the gold Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available from Big Red starting on May 31st. Our source, who apparently works for Verizon in some capacity, says that the gold units have just arrived at his store. Samsung announced last week that U.S. carriers would be offering the special colored units starting on May 30th. If our source is correct, Verizon is waiting until the 31st to offer the gold Galaxy S5.
So now you have a week to think about whether to buy the gold colored Galaxy S5, or wait a bit to see if Samsung does unveil the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime.
