Verizon's Motorola XOOM tablet receives new software update
Even though the Motorola XOOM tablet has been out for nearly two years, we're glad to see that it occasionally does receive software updates from Verizon.

The newest software update (version JZO54M) started rolling out a couple days ago.

This update to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean includes Google Now, an updated notification screen, improved voice search, adaptive keyboard that improves over time to help predict the user's next word, revised settings menu, added a search option to the YouTube app, the "Accounts & Sync" is now located in the accounts group, and enhancements to the modem to improve data connectivity.

This may also be one of the last updates for the XOOM, since it is not expected to get Android 4.2.
