Verizon to offer some new Apple devices online this week; new trade-in deal for high-end phones
Verizon has a couple of pieces of news today that it wants you to know about. First, some of the new Apple devices announced by the tech titan this morning will be available online from the nation's largest carrier starting on March 24th. That is this coming Friday. The new models include the PRODUCT(RED) Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus. How appropriate that a red variant of the current iPhone handsets will be offered by Big Red. Also available starting Friday will be the 32GB/128GB Apple iPhone SE.

Also available on that date will be a new 32GB tablet that replaces the Apple iPad Air 2. Available in Silver, Gold and Space Gray, this will be known simply as the iPad. Priced $70 cheaper than the iPad Air 2 at $329 for Wi-Fi only, and $459 for Wi-Fi + Cellular, the new slate will have an improved screen with Retina display. It is powered by an Apple A9 chipset. Unfortunately, it is 20% thicker than the iPad Air 2. It is equipped with two FaceTime cameras on each side of the tablet.

Turning to Verizon's new deal, you can purchase some of the most popular high-end phones around for only $15 a month using device payment. To qualify for this deal, you will need to trade in an eligible phone. The list of top shelf handsets offered by Verizon for $15/month with the trade includes:

To qualify for this plan, you will need to purchase the phone you want (which costs as much as $869.99). You also will have to port over your current number from your soon to be ex-carrier. You will then receive credit up to $409.99 over 24-months in the form of bill credits. You might have to wait one to two bill cycles for the credit to start appearing on the bill.
