Verizon to get LG Vortex and Samsung Continuum on October 29th
The Samsung Continuum and the LG Vortex are two new Android devices heading to Verizon and are slated for an October 29th release.
The Samsung Continuum is a new version of the Galaxy S phones that have seen great popularity across all of the networks. It packs the same 1 GHz hummingbird processor and beautiful Super AMOLED display. It should handle multi-tasking nicely with its 336 MB of internal memory. The biggest feature of this phone is the second screen at the bottom of the device. Should be fun to see what it can do.
The LG Vortex doesn’t boast the same impressive specifications as the Samsung Continuum, but it does come preloaded with Android 2.2. It has a 600 MHz processor stuffed inside of a body that features a 3.2-inch screen. It also has a 3 megapixel camera, aGPS, Bluetooth and any of the other things you would expect to find in a mid-range smartphone. No pricing is available at this moment, but October 29th is only a little more than a week away.
