Verizon raises the price of the enV Touch and enV3
Who would expect that Verizon will raise the price of a device that has been out for three months now? At first, the LG enV Touch was available for $149.99 with a two-year contract, then its price got lowered to $99. However, this more affordable tag didn’t last long, and Big Red set it back to $149.99. Naturally, consumers didn’t like that at all and the carrier decided to get the cheaper price back. Because of this, people complained of the continual roller-coaster Verizon was playing, hoping there will be no more changes. Alas, one of our tipsters notified us today that the touchscreen handset as been increased to $179.99 (after rebate) with a two-year contract, and even the enV3 went back to $129.99. We're pretty sure the release of the Samsung Rogue U960 for $99.99 has something to do with it, and can assume that the Rogue won't be at this price forever either. But the good news is the LG Dare and Versa both dropped in price to $79.99 and $49.99 respectfully.
