For those of you seeking a social networking device that is heavy on messaging and light on your wallet, Verizon is now offering the Samsung Intensity II. The device features quick access to Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, VCAST Music with Rhapsody and even comes with a 1.3MP infrared camera to take pictures at night. With a 2 year contract, the Samsung Intensity II costs $49.99 after a $50 rebate and with the signed pact, Verizon will toss in a second Intensity II for free with your purchase. Don't let the QWERTY keyboard fool you as this is not a high-end phone by any stretch of the imagination. The screen is 2.2 inches and the phone offers 1X digital connectivity only. But for pre-teens or for those who need to just make/receive calls while connecting to their social networks, the Intensity II would seem to cover your needs while keeping your wallet intact. The phone is available in two colors, Metallic Blue and Deep Gray.
