Verizon might launch three new Unlimited plans, 5G access is included for a fee
Word is Big Red plans to rehash its Unlimited plans or launch three new ones very soon. Apparently, Verizon jumped the gun on its new products, but the carrier quickly removed any mention of the new plans after they were noticed by customers and taken to Reddit.
The folks over at Droid-life managed to trace the information related to the new plans as far back as June 24. The new plans are called Do, Play and More Unlimited and are meant to cover the 5G service Verizon already offers in select markets across the US.
While they are not exclusively targeting 5G customers, all three plans cover 5G as well, whereas Verizon's current Above and Beyond Unlimited plans are the only ones eligible to be used with 5G data speeds.
As seen in the picture above, it looks like Verizon plans to charge $10/month and credit for 5G access. No other details about the Do, Play and More Unlimited plans are available apart from what Verizon mentioned on its website, but at least we know they're coming.
