Verizon mistakes the BlackBerry Bold 9930 for 9650, unintentionally confirms the former along the way
Ah, the BlackBerry Bold 9930: “the thinnest BlackBerry available” with an even wider full QWERTY keyboard, a dream come true for 'Berry loyalists and corporate folks. Pictures of a Verizon-bound version of the handset leaked out on the web a couple of days ago, but if you've had any doubts about the phone arriving on Big Red those are about to vanish into thin air. Verizon itself has posted an official video exploring the features of the Verizon BlackBerry Bold 9930... in the page dedicated to the Bold 9650. Guess that makes it nearly official, doesn't it?

The new Bold 9930 will feature a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen supporting pinch-to-zoom and run on BlackBerry OS 7. Along with that comes a 5MP camera with auto-focus and flash, allowing 720p video capture. You can store your data on the 8GB of internal memory or expand it to 32GB via a microSD card. Just yesterday, RIM teased us with new BlackBerry 7 devices on the way, probably including this very Bold 9930, so stay tuned - pricing and release date of the new Bold could be unveiled soon.
