Well, well, well, that elusive Galaxy S line member with 256GB of storage memory has been somewhat of an unicorn here in the US ever since Samsung started listing such versions in its specs sheet, but they never materialized stateside.
Until the Galaxy S9 and S9+, that is, as Verizon has listed both with 128GB and 256GB versions in its "new" category of devices certified in the last 30 days. Bear in mind that, officially, Verizon currently only sells the 64GB basic model, so these two are yet to be included in the store roster with pricing details.
The memory-laden Galaxies are listed under Verizon's Open Development program, meaning that "once it passes the compliance testing, the device can be connected to our network," as per the carrier's description, but if and when are still very much pending questions.
